Domed Welsh Oak and resin lamp base
Made with a base of Welsh Oak, with a blend of dark and light colour resins. The swirls and ripples in the highly polished resin show off an Aurora like quality on the resin with the brighter undertones cutting through the dark velvety blues and blacks of the resin pigments used. The lamp has been finished with blackened brass lamp fittings and black fabric cord (cord length from the base 1.25m)
In the continued effort to use all the possible material this lamp is part of the off cuts range where a piece or pieces of the same timber are collected, combined with resin to create a new block then turned to create the new form.
